About Vineaterra

📍 Where does Vineaterra come from?

“Vineaterra is a story of heart, family, and choices. I grew up on a wine estate in Lalande-de-Pomerol, passed down since 1852. When I was 14, my father died. My mother, who knew nothing about wine, left everything to take over the estate, for me, for us. I continued my studies by alternating on the estate, between management, human resources, and harvesting.”

“Little by little, I took part in the adventure, I organized weddings, open days, created a wine tourism center. I loved it. It was a revelation: I loved bringing experiences to life, creating special moments. But the reality of the job was harsh: labor shortages, Covid, hail, frost... until I had to give up on taking over this family business. This painful choice took me two years. Today, I know that it led me to Vineaterra. A logical continuation, freer, more aligned.”

💡 Why did I create Vineaterra?

“To convey what I loved most about wine: sharing, beauty, and encounters. I wanted to create human-scale getaways centered around wine, well-being, and gastronomy. Experiences that were authentic, elegant, and deeply human.”

🤝 How do I choose my partners?

“I work with genuine, passionate, and committed people. Sometimes unknown, sometimes discreet, but always sincere. Some places don't have a perfect facade, but offer a moving experience. Others, on the contrary, have that prestige, that gilding, that expected excellence. And it's also important to experience them. At Vineaterra, I offer you both: the confidential encounter and the grand house. Because wine, like life, is savored in diversity.”
